Offcourse, the microprocessor (an Atmel ATMEGA644p) is flashed with the Arduino bootloader, so it's ready for use. You will have to upload your the firmware before it functions in your printer using the Arduino GUI.

Important note about assembly

We don't keep assembled stock, so it may take a bit longer before we can ship your product (our techs have to assemble it for you!)

Note: There is a new and improved version of the Pololu A4983 stepper driver! We will now supply its successor, the A4988. It offers overcurrent protection and has an internal 100k pull-down on the MS1 microstep selection pin. The new Pololu A4988 is pin-compatible with the older A4983.
